After activating the forest tower you will have to head towards the Great Forest of Hyrule to the north along a path to the east of the tower. That way, you will be able to reach the entrance to the Lost Forest (you will not be able to use the paraglider to glide directly into the forest from the top of the tower).
The Lost Forest is a kind of fog-covered maze that has only one valid path to follow. If you deviate from it, the fog will cover you and return you to the beginning or to a previous area depending on how far you have advanced.
Fortunately, there are some lighted fire pits that will mark the path that leads to the heart of the forest. Each time you reach a cauldron, look for the flame of the next cauldron in the mist and head towards it in a straight line, without deviating. Also note the direction of the embers of the cauldrons blown by the wind, as they will show you the right direction.
From the pair of cauldrons the path becomes quite complicated, but the good thing is that there is a torch that you can use to find out the right path. Light that torch or any of the ones you have in your inventory in the flame of one of the cauldrons and then walk, paying attention to the direction of the embers of your torch that drags the wind.
To do this we have to find the kolog, creatures that are hidden everywhere in the scenarios, and when we discover them we are rewarded with a kolog seed. These seeds must be delivered to Obab, but first you have to find him.ADVERTISING
Once we have found him, he will ask us to eliminate some enemies that are very close to his position, in order to recover Obab’s maracas, an object that we will have to give him to start expanding the inventory.
This place is special, since it is a kind of labyrinth, which we must cross in a certain way. In the section how to get the Master Sword, we explain how to get to the Kolog Forest, in the heart of the Lost Forest.

In this guide you will find all the information you need to discover the whereabouts of the Master Sword and how to remove it from its base. Obviously, this is a big spoiler, so if you don’t want to know more, leave this page NOW.
As a first step, you’ll need to go to the area behind Hyrule Castle. The best way to get there is to go from the forest at the foot of the volcano (west side). All you have to do is follow the path to the entrance of the lost forest.
This forest is a very special area where the wind blows and blows you back to the entrance if you don’t go the right way. The trick is obvious: with a lit torch, look where the flames are going, and follow the direction of the wind.
The Master Sword will help you in your fight against Ganon. You can try to get it at any time during your adventure, as long as you have passed the initial Plateau. If your inventory is full, the Master Sword will be placed in a new space in your bag.

Heroic Trials are challenges that are scattered throughout the land of Hyrule. Despite what it may seem, their purpose is to test you (redundancy aside) in order to unlock the most difficult Shrines. As with the Shrines, these are divided by the different regions. And this time it is the turn of the Forest.
You will activate this Heroic Trial once you reach the Ruins of Oumbra, an area that is north of the Great Forest of Hyrule. Once there, you will have to advance in the dark, for which you can use different tricks to light the way, either by taking the fire scepters and torches scattered throughout the area, as well as the Shield of Daruk or the Fire Arrows with the bow drawn. You will have to advance until you reach the Pedestal inside this area, which you can see marked in the image below with a Star. Once this is done, advance to where the Hinox is (marked with a Skull) and defeat him. To make the battle easier, light all the surrounding bonfires. Once you defeat him, take the orb to the pedestal. This will unlock the Toviak Shrine.
